We went to the pediatrician this past week, and our boy is a whopping 20 lbs!!!!! Bart was 18lbs. on his first birthday, so that puts it in perspective. After asking her a bunch of questions about him being over-fed, she replied, "he's just a big boy"! She said he's doing GREAT developmentally, etc.
There is one thing you can pray for. The back of Micah's head is flatter on one side than the other. She has recommended that we go to a cranial technology consultation in Charlotte. They will take pictures and measurements of his head to see if he qualifies for a "helmet". The helmet will help his head to form correctly as it continues to grow. Please pray as we travel to Charlotte on Tuesday. We'll let you know the results. I put a picture of a "helmet" at the bottom of this post for those of you who don't know what it looks like.
