I cannot believe that my last post was over Thanksgiving three weeks ago. The past several weeks have been filled with a lot of fun and excitement. Bart and I have had a renewed energy with all of the fun we've had with this being Micah's first Christmas season. Enjoy the pics of events over the last several weeks.

A year later...

This past Sunday we celebrated our annual "Hanging of the Greens" service at church. It' s a time designed for families to participate in "decorating" the church while singing Christmas carols. Well, this year was a whole lot different than last year. I thought the pics would speak for themselves. We are so blessed to have Micah in our lives :)

Double Digits

I CANNOT believe we are now in the double digits...10 months! Wow! Bart and I are more in love with Micah now than ever! I guess your loves grows daily as a parent. I think all the time, "how can I love him even more?" But I do! Every day!

This is such a fun age! Micah is ALL over the place...standing constantly. We're thinking he may be walking soon :) Maybe over Thanksgiving or Christmas...how fun!

New stuff Micah is doing..
1. He is now "kissing". His mouth is open, but he'll lean towards your face for a kiss. It's the sweetest thing EVER!!!
2. He finally said "Momma". He has been saying "Dadda" for SO long I thought he'd never say it. Well, he did and I LOVE IT!
3. Mimicking movements. Micah can now mimic things you do. We play a game while he eats. I'll lean my head to one side and he will follow suit. We both laugh. Precious!

Day of "Firsts"

Micah experienced two "firsts" today...his first birthday party & his first Halloween. The Millers live in our neighborhood and go to our church. We were so excited when Hampton invited Micah to his birthday party. The added bonus was that it was Halloween, so the kids dressed up. Micah dressed up as an ECU football player. Bart did an awesome job on his helmet!
