Pregnancy Hair

So there's LOTS of things that make pregnancy difficult (many of which I haven't experienced yet). But there is one thing that I LOVE about pregnancy...MY HAIR!!! It probably doesn't look any different to most people, but I can do something now that I've never been able to do...NOT wash my hair everyday!!!! Those of you that know me, know that I HATE my hair. It's thin and oily. Well, hormones have come to the rescue! Apparently, pregnancy hair is thicker and doesn't get as oily! PRAISE THE LORD!!!! Being a teacher, I have early mornings. So anything I can do to help with the ease of getting up, I will. I've been able to take showers at night, fix my hair the next day and go to work looking like I had a nice, refreshing shower that morning! HEAVENLY!!! It's been the best!!! Maybe I'll keep taking pre-natals just for what it does to my hair. :)

We're Registered!!

Well, we finally did it. Bart and I spent a good two hours trying to figure out what we wanted for the baby. We have never felt so clueless in our lives! People can give you suggestions, but I think it's one of those things where you just have to experience it for yourself. Which type of bottle? Which stroller is better? Does the swing need a vibrator AND music, or just a vibrator? SO MANY CHOICES! We survived, but left extremely exhausted. Thanks to the 21st century, we can go online and add/delete items from the registry. SO HELPFUL!!!! Please feel free to view our registry by going to www.babiesrus.com. Sad to say, I dropped our camera and it is temporarily unavailable. I'm so bummed! It definitely puts a glitch on taking pics of my belly, etc.

Baby boy cook is doing well. I can tell he's growing because my tummy is progressively getting larger.

Sleeping is beginning to be a tad uncomfortable, so my sweet husband bought me a body pillow from Bed, Bath & Beyond today. Then I rewarded him by helping him mow the grass. It was my first time EVER! Not as hard as I thought! My dad will be so proud. :)

IT'S A BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had our 20 week appointment today. Everything looks good & healthy! We are SO blessed, and so excited to welcome a baby boy into the world (5 more months to go)!
