1st Steps

1st Christmas

Christmas morning was a BLAST! We enjoyed spending time with both families. Micah did great and enjoyed all of the fun & activity. On our way home I told Bart that the back of our van looked like Toys 'R Us. Enjoy the pics... Can't wait 'til next year.

LOVED the bows...

My parents have a bear that sings "I'm dreaming of a white Christmas" and Micah was a little obsessed.

My Christmas Present

Merry Christmas to me!!!! Bart was sneaky this year and planned a trip to Asheville behind my back. Yay! Nesie watched Micah while we spent several days in Asheville. This was the first overnight trip away from Micah for Bart and I. It was a great time to be alone and focus on our marriage. We enjoyed great sights, great food and great conversation. Thanks babe! It was the best Christmas gift you could have given me! Thanks for being an amazing husband and father. I love you!!!

We were able to see the Gingerbread houses while we were there.

Last Several Weeks

I cannot believe that my last post was over Thanksgiving three weeks ago. The past several weeks have been filled with a lot of fun and excitement. Bart and I have had a renewed energy with all of the fun we've had with this being Micah's first Christmas season. Enjoy the pics of events over the last several weeks.

A year later...

This past Sunday we celebrated our annual "Hanging of the Greens" service at church. It' s a time designed for families to participate in "decorating" the church while singing Christmas carols. Well, this year was a whole lot different than last year. I thought the pics would speak for themselves. We are so blessed to have Micah in our lives :)
