Baby Cook is kicking!!!

So, you hear that it's the greatest feeling in the world, but it's hard to know when you've never felt it before. You ask yourself, was that it? Maybe that? They say that it feels like "gas bubbles" or a fish flicking you with it's tail, but until you've felt it, you never REALLY know.
I felt him several weeks ago while I was walking around Babies 'R Us with my friend. It felt like he was drumming his little feet against my upper chest. But that was the last time until a couple days ago. At my last visit, my doctor said, "Just wait until he gets a little bigger, and then you'll start to feel him". According to babycenter.com, he is as tall as a cucumber (14 in. head to heel), and weighs about 1 2/3 pounds (almost 2 lbs.).
Several days ago, I felt this "jump" on the right side of my belly. I told Bart, "I think I just felt him jump". Bart got excited and placed his hand on my belly. I told him he wouldn't be able to feel him yet, and then all of a sudden, Bart's hand comes flying off my belly. "I felt him, I felt him". It was the coolest thing! Since then, we have been able to feel him multiple times a day. We're visiting Bart's family this weekend, and Aunt Abbey and Moma Nesie (Bart's mom) felt his lttle kicks as well.
I've known for 6 1/2 months that he's in there, but feeling him kick and move around makes it so much more real! I'm so glad that I get to experience this for 3 months!
