Day of "Firsts"

Micah experienced two "firsts" today...his first birthday party & his first Halloween. The Millers live in our neighborhood and go to our church. We were so excited when Hampton invited Micah to his birthday party. The added bonus was that it was Halloween, so the kids dressed up. Micah dressed up as an ECU football player. Bart did an awesome job on his helmet!

"Here Comes the Bride"

Bart had the privilege of officiating his first wedding in GA this past weekend. His cousin Meagan got married. He did such a great job! We had a great time with Bart's family! This was the first time that his family met Micah, so it made for some great entertainment.

Good for the Soul

This past weekend was so good for my soul!!! Laughing, sleeping in, drinking coffee, playing cards, praying together, laying out in 85 degree weather, eating too much, swimming in the ocean, taking pics, sharing life together...

My four best friends from college and I had the blessing and privilege of spending the weekend together at the beach this past weekend! I've had a hard time adjusting to life as a working mom, and this weekend was EXACTLY what I needed.
